HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. — No. 9 Dreher will visit top-seeded Hilton Head Island High School next Friday, Nov. 13, in the second round of the South Carolina High School League Class 4A Lower State football playoffs.
Hilton Head Island High School earned the No. 1 seed in the 4A Lower State bracket. The pairing is one of the Class 4A Lower State games on a statewide slate that also covers Classes 5A, 3A, 2A and 1A in Upper State and Lower State brackets.

Dreher reached Hilton Head Island with a 20-19 road win over Wilson in the first round, the Blue Devils’ first postseason victory since 1994. The win was Dreher’s eighth of the season, the program’s most in a year since 1997.
Wilson closed the gap to 20-19 after missing an extra point, then reached about the 20-yard line in the last minute before Dreher ended the drive and punched a ticket to top-seeded Hilton Head Island.
