LONDON, England — Former Clemson linebacker Jeremiah Trotter Jr. was ejected Sunday in London, England, after an altercation on the opening kickoff of the Philadelphia Eagles game against the Jacksonville Jaguars, with only 13 seconds off the clock.
Trotter and Jaguars defensive end Bryan Thomas Jr., a former South Carolina defender, were both tossed after they kept grappling near midfield while the kick was returned for a touchdown.

That opening return was called back because of a holding penalty, and the teams repeated the kickoff with 14:47 remaining in the first quarter.
Trotter was expected to make his second start of the season after recording 15 tackles against the Los Angeles Rams the week before. He has 19 tackles in five games this season.
His father, Jeremiah Trotter Sr., was ejected before Philadelphia’s 2005 season opener against Atlanta following a pregame fight. Jacksonville won the game 19-17.
