BEAUFORT – The University of South Carolina Beaufort (USCB) has recently recognized a group of outstanding students for their exceptional academic achievements for the Spring 2023 semester. The university announced the students who made both the Chancellor’s List and the President’s List, acknowledging their dedication to academic excellence.

To qualify for the President’s List, undergraduate degree-seeking students must achieve a perfect semester GPA of 4.0. This high standard has been met by numerous students from the Beaufort area, showcasing their hard work and commitment. Notable honorees include Brock Bekemeyer, Brooke Brennan, and Hannah Krebs, among many others. In total, 27 students from Beaufort have made the list, alongside others from nearby locations such as Port Royal and St. Helena Island.

The Chancellor’s List honors students who achieve a GPA between 3.5 and 3.99 during the same semester. This list includes a remarkable 43 students from Beaufort and neighboring areas. Among those recognized are Simon Araneda, Sarah Bell, and Kimberly Combs. Students from Port Royal and St. Helena Island also received accolades for their academic performance, with notable names such as Jamaya Bryant and Nicholas Butcher.
