Since 2005, The Sandbox Children’s Museum has been “successfully disguising learning as play,” giving families a safe, hands-on place for kids to explore, imagine, and grow. Located at Lowcountry Celebration Park on Hilton Head Island, the museum blends creative exhibits with purposeful play and year-round programs for ages 1–12.
The Sandbox is a nonprofit, interactive children’s museum dedicated to early childhood development through play. More than 390,000 visitors have come through its doors, drawn by inclusive spaces, welcoming staff, and exhibits designed around social-emotional, physical, language, math, and cognitive development.
