Background and Ownership Changes

The founder, Bob Sutton, recently retired and sold the restaurant space at the end of 2022. Following the sale, the restaurant transformed into a completely employee-owned and operated establishment. However, new owners returned the space to Sutton at the end of 2024.

New Leadership

In his return, Sutton is partnering with Jeff Haines, a local businessman who runs a painting and lapidary company. Haines’ daughter, Brisa Adame, will step in as the operations manager of Bullies BBQ.

Location and Atmosphere

Bullies BBQ is located in an old gas station at 3 Regency Parkway, directly across from Nectar and in front of the Red Roof Inn. The restaurant will feature a welcoming decor highlighting photos of Sutton’s French Bulldogs, which inspired its name.
