INDIANAPOLIS — The Tennessee Titans arrived at Lucas Oil Stadium without a win and left with one, scoring 26 unanswered points after halftime to beat the Indianapolis Colts 26-20 on Sunday.

Indianapolis controlled the first half, outgaining Tennessee 232 yards to 64, but led only 13-0 at the break after twice settling for field goals deep in Titans territory. A first-quarter interception inside the red zone also cost the Colts points.

Tennessee then scored every time it had the ball in the second half, five drives in all. Joey Slye was good from 29, 44, 49 and 56 yards. Cam Ward also found Carnell Tate for an 8-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter, a score set up by a 58-yard punt return. Julius Chestnut also blocked a Rigoberto Sanchez punt that Oluwafemi Oladejo carried 14 yards into the end zone, the first blocked-punt touchdown in the league this season.

The Titans defense finished with six sacks and three takeaways, and Tennessee did not allow a sack. It was the first win for Robert Saleh as Titans coach, the 500th win in franchise history counting playoffs, and it ended a six-game Indianapolis winning streak in the series.

Colts quarterback Daniel Jones completed 22 of 42 passes for 269 yards with a touchdown and two interceptions, and Indianapolis failed on fourth down on both of its late possessions between Tennessee field goals. Through six games he has thrown more picks, five, than touchdown passes, three. Coach Shane Steichen said afterward that Jones will remain the starter and that turnovers must be fixed quickly.

Indianapolis has lost two straight and is 2-4. Tennessee hosts Cleveland next Sunday.
