Samuel Peter, the General Manager of Conrad Seoul, has been promoted to Head of Hilton Korea, an announcement made on September 1. Peter will maintain his role as General Manager of Conrad Seoul while taking on the responsibility of overseeing Hilton’s entire portfolio of properties across Korea.

A Swiss national, Peter brings over two decades of experience in the global luxury hotel market, including extensive work in Asia. His career includes managing hotel operations in various countries such as Japan, Singapore, Thailand, and Switzerland. Before his tenure at Conrad Seoul, he served as General Manager of Hilton Hiroshima, where he was instrumental in the hotel’s opening and the hosting of significant international events, including the G7 summit. His experience also extends to managing major international events like the Rugby World Cup and F1 Grand Prix during his time at Hilton Tokyo and Hilton Singapore.

In his expanded capacity, Peter will focus on supporting the operational aspects and growth of Hilton hotels throughout Korea. He is also tasked with strengthening collaboration among the various properties within the Hilton portfolio in the region. Peter stated that he aims to respect the unique strengths of each hotel and brand while fostering shared expertise and experience to generate collective growth. He expressed his commitment to delivering Hilton’s distinct hospitality to customers and achieving sustained growth in the Korean market.
